Where they differ

In the reviews behind this page, washed lots read crisper and more tea-like, with citrus and a light body. Naturals read sweeter and juicier, with tropical fruit, chocolate and syrup. Both stay floral-led, and the best naturals show depth without ferment.

How much to trust this

Built from roughly eighteen published reviews and retailer descriptions, mostly Coffee Review and specialty roasters, covering Esmeralda, Bambito, Alto Quiel and a few other Boquete and Volcan estates. They skew toward high-scoring, expensive lots. Placing each note in a family and setting its level is my judgment, not a measurement. Farm, fermentation, roast and brew method will move your cup away from this shape.
